All About Our Children's Ministry
|
|
Nursery
A nursery is provided for both services for kids from birth to 23 months. The nursery is located in the Worship Center building and in a secure location that is quickly accessible from any room on the entire campus.

|
|
Celebration City
This ministry is geared to be the best 3 hours of a child’s week. Kids are grouped into grade levels and have a time of Bible Study, Worship, Music, Crafts, Recreation, Snacks, Puppets, and Drama. These help engage a kid's mind in several ways to learn about the Bible and God’s plans for His children.

After Shock
We want to give young teenagers all the encouragement and guidance we can as they enter these years. The 5th and 6th grade class, After Shock, meets Sunday mornings at 9:15 at The House.

Facilities
Our children's wing is a wonderful, up-to-date space for kids. Colorful rooms and age-appropriate furniture and fixtures are all a part of the Celebration City environment.

Security
We take the safety of our kids very seriously at Southside. There are check-in and check-out systems that will make all parents, including guests, feel secure that their children are safe. All of our workers have background checks to help insure that those people working with our kids are wonderful, loving, and caring individuals.

Bible Drill
Wee Word teaches 1st-3rd grades the books of the Bible and how to find them. They also learn many Bible verses in fun ways! Kids gain an appreciation for God's Word and a lot of confidence in their ability to use it.
Word X Heart is designed for 4th-6th graders. Children learn the books of the Bible, 25 verses and how to apply them, and 10 key passages. They also learn how to find the books and passages very quickly! Word X Heart uses music, games, puzzles, and lots of other fun ways to accomplish these goals.
